Ok now all comments are very much welcomed and incuraged.... So i'm carving wood right now mostly gnomes, Santa's, tree spirits and hopes to make a living out of it, and i really want to get into carving Monsters, Wizards and such. What would you like to see carved? Thanks for your inputs

A few years ago I saw a cool Cernunnos sculpture that I never forgot. It seemed like a perfect thing to add to a wild yard or garden path. (But since I have neither...)

I'd love to see a 'bullette' (spelling?) or 'land shark' monster carved out of wood, just the top half so it looks to be coming out of the earth.

how about my Cupcake Monstah :D ?

Or maybe the Evil Pillow! perhaps?

:] Sorry... I just had to *grin* but hey, they'd be cool carvings that I'm sure no one else has ever done.

Now I'm not afraid of what's hiding under my bed anymore...
it's afraid of the thing I put my head on.

wooden caltrops, thousands of them...
or a wooden 'bear-trap' chimney cover.

What I'd -really- like...is a backyard tree turned into a giant beanstalk.
Carved to look like one. (do trees feel pain?)

Nutmeg, let us know if there's something you'd like a pose for... to work from. I'd be happy to doodle something, then you could work on it some yourself... ask for another doodle and I'd do it... so forth.

Just a collaborative thing, of course. I just like doing art with people :D

Honestly, good old-fashioned wooden pipes are always a blast to carve... then again I kind of suck at representing anything real when I'm hackin' at a piece of wood.

Honestly, I'd like to see a talented person carve really unique sets of armor, a lot of people tend to carve the existing musem pieces, and I think that's a bit limiting.
